I looked through only 2-3 brides magazines, and I ended up circling this dress. I couldn't get this one out of my head. It looked so unique compared to the others, and when I finally went to go try dresses on, it happend to be the first one I tried on! After a few that made me think of Quinceneras and those stupid sleek ones (why does anyone wear those? They can make a size 4 look like an 8 because it makes the hips stand out)

Can't believe its already come & gone! We went on a cruise, and had a very romantic anniversary, a romantic dinner and some beautiful professional pictures taken that day.

20 years old geez, I'm old. We went and watched the movie 'Up' in San Antonio, spent time with my grandparents and everyone. Parker gave me a pretty green ostrich skin purse and necklace, earrings and bracelet :).

I have a newfound love for Valentines Day! First I walked in to some awesome and surprising balloons! Then I found a beautiful card, "Wife, on Valentines day". I loved my first Valentines Day being married. =) I carried in Parker's present a stuffed animal, and I continued on after reading the card and I didn't see him anywhere, well I looked down and there was the cutest chubbiest little puppy looking up at me and I laughed and jumped down to pet him!!!

Christmas!

Was sooo amazing and nice =). It was a beautiful day, not too hot or cold. We woke up early and opened presents, then ate Christmas dinner (lunch, whatever), tasty turkey, prime rib and rolls. My grandparents and Brenda joined in with us. Then I wanted to go out and take pictures with my new camera and take Juno for a run so we did that Parker, Chadley, me, mom and grandma. Looked for arrowheads, mom found one. Oh, and Parker loved his present and won't get off of it! lol, I got him a computer (not the screen but the other thingy), and the brand new flight simulator that he can practice on. =D! He was very surprised. and he got me... a K&N cold air intake!!! (He knows I love anyhting to do with my car :) it give me better gas mileage and the best part.... instead of 400HP, It marks my HP up to 440! Woohoo! And it makes it louder =D! I got an awesome little wallet purse (Dooney & Burke) from my mom, she didn't know what the brand was but Dana did and showed her when they were shopping in Vegas, thanks for showing her Dana! lol, I love it and its my fav. color !!!! I can't even name all the awesome presents, and the cutest ornament for us "First Christmas 2008" =). Chadley liked his tabasco, Mom liked her new coat, and Dad liked his beer from us so we didn't do too bad!!! Everyone loved their presents, and today was just beautiful outside!

Christmas eve was awesome! (I'm putting Christmas on the next post) We went golfing with my mom and grandaddy, it was fun besides getting hit in the back of the head with a golf club by my mom!!! She felt bad. It was SO loud, it sounded like a coconut! She hit me on her backswing. But it didnt bother me much anyway except it hurt! It was a pretty day! Grandaddy had to golf with the back of a golf club cause he's lefthanded and he STILL did good! Christmas eve was very nice. We've been roasting marshmellows and on Christmas eve morning I shot my first buck! I was cranky when I got up in the morning and Parker made me, then I got a glass of jack and coke at about 6:45 LOL, I wanted to say I had some liquor in me when I shot my first buck. I wasn't drunk of anything, so I don't think it counts lol. Parker thought it was funny haha!

Yesterday he got a piece of meat lodged in his throat, went to Carrizo hospital ER at about 4- and they weren't helpful as usual so we had to go to Eagle Pass hospital, waited there from 6-something, to like 2 and finally got into a room after the doc finally came in and said he needed him to stay. So we did and it sucked of course, he didn't want to be alone, he hates being anywhere without me or not having me around him. So I curled up halfway on the hospital bed beside him and we both got maybe an hour max all last night. In the morning they took him to surgery to look at his esophegus, and my mom got there around that time so we waited in the waiting room for word about it. Well, Parker has a hiatal hernia meaning it is like an extra chamber from having too much acid in the stomach (where acid goes back up into if he eats acidic food, which is BAD), and when he was little his dad used to make him clean his plate and eat a lot, which stretched stomach and made it produce more acid anyway, he also has acid reflux. =( Poor Parker I felt so bad for him and now I'm just trying to be helpful as I can and be here for him like the past two days. I've been looking up information about it and recipes and things he can eat and such. Like oranges, lemons, steaks, fajita, tortilla pretty much any fattening or acidic food. And he has to eat small portions, if he doesnt do this then it will get worse and he'll need surgeries. =/ Which it wouldn't be a big deal no, but I know how he's trying to show that he's coping with it but I know how much he loves to cook and this is kind of like a hindering =(, we'll just have to find new recipes.

=), we're looking forward to Christmas though. I got him an awesome present a week ago and he has NO idea! Can't WAIT to see the look on his face. He got me something too, and we also got my brother, dad, mom, mother in law and sis in law presents too. I can't wait til he sees his present =) I'm just glad to be out of the hospital!

chilly at the ranch

Glad to be back for a little while :). We've been out riding around on the ranch poor Parker was so embarassed he got stuck in 'ole faithful' the truck today =P! Juno's been able to get out and run every day in front of us and it feels really good outside! Nice and cold. Him and dad are out getting firewood and we should be starting another fire outside =D. Well that's about all, had fun at Sparky's last night. "What happens at Sparky's stays at Sparky's". I love jack daniels and Parkers so funny. The night before we went to Marcos & Jorgina's house, it's very nice =) and theyre trying to decide what to name the baby, Marcos was like "ya'll are already 5 months behind!" lol.

So, this morning the 18wheeler that we rode in a week ago flipped x_X, thank goodness Garrett's okay, the load caused the truck to flip on its side. We went to go see him & the truck. Geez! That was pretty crazy, it was destroyed. Too bad I don't have a damn camera! All I have is my phone camera. I haven't been doing much, we ate at some random restaurant that was supposed to be good but it turned out to be cajuny of course, which made my stomach flop and cringe and get sick after those creamy spicy crabcakes. lol, I'm feeling a little better now though. Parkers onthe phone with his mom, I'm watching O'Reilly factor. We picked out a Christmas tree and put it up and decorated it a bit earlier this week. Our first Christmas decorated tree! :)

One of the shows I've been watching had its finale tonight, Scream Queens! And I'm SO happy the one I wanted to win won! She had no experience and the other one was sooo conceited the entire time!!! Go Tanidra! She'll be on Saw 6. lol.

yaay!

Thanksgiving was yummy, we stayed here for it and Parkers mom & sisters & nephew came to see us! :), and my grandparents. It was very fun & stressful at times, but hey thats the holidays though right?! It was fun we played pictionary and ate a lot. Haha, today we got to ride in cuz Garrett's 18wheeler, that was long but fun. Never been in one before so it was a new experience. Parkers instructors being a butt, so today is his last day in the flight simulator, and then he'll change I hope. Think so. And then, he'll get to fly!!!! Yesssss, thats so much more exciting, I'm hoping we'll be done in Feb/March. I hate this state, no offense. O_O. We've been here since Sep.22, I can't believe we've been here 3 months already! AND, we've been married for 4 months,1 week & 5 days. WHOA! It feels like we got married yesterday! We've been together for 1 year, 3 months, 1 week & 3 days. Aww.

And we're going home to Carrizo for Christmas, I'm so excited and counting down the days!!! Can't wait to be in that dirty, cold, familiar ranch with parker where we spent our first months together :) during Christmas.

Soooo, we celebrated Parkers 23rd birthday on the 12th. I had written him a birthday poem, which he read at about 12:02 at night ! He liked it, & I tried my best to make it really special for him, with our limited means, of course. We went to Waffle House for breakfast, one of his favorite places and then we spent a while together at the mall. We ate some really tasty Dippin Dots, He tried on really cool boat shoes, and I bought him some nice Oakley sunglasses and then we got some cool leather boat shoes, thhhen, we bought Kung Fu Panda and watched it together snuggling on the couch.

It may not seem too exciting but he said he loved his birthday. =).

Oh yeah p.s I will get another pitbull someday when we leave here, I had one and he was my baby ! But the pet deposit was way too high. Soon my pits! Soon lol

So we got to eat at Waffle House this morning, and it was nice. And just as we thought Louisiana water has bad bacteria. It gives you the shits, Parker has the shits. You shit out what you ate the hour before. Do not drink the water here, it is swampay. So we've been walking 3 miles a day, cooool. And I've been working out more. Very cool ^-^ haha. Umm, then we went to the store and bought milk. Theeeen, to top the exciting day off, Parker is making beans! Niiiice. I really like our long walks, even though when it gets dark the mosquitoes are lke the size of FCKING HORSES! And they have monkeys in cages here that have AIDS. What? It's soooo sad. It's like damn you Louisiana, wtf?! Free the monkeys!!!!!

They have 400 cages with monkeys here so they can do lab testing on them! Its so wrong, and it pisses me off. AND it also pisses me off cause they're always sad and they scream and cry, and they have been infected by the mad scientists with HIV and Malaria and shit like that, and DUH! The mosquitoes suck their blood and buzz around, needless to say we walk really fast when they start flyin around. Stupid people, and poor monkeys :(. I feel sssooo bad for them, you can see all of them walking and hanging around in their tiny cages, its like.. how can people do this to poor innocent animals like them? They are our CLOSEST and smartest relatives. Its just wrong.

When we go on our walks, we talk about how many kids we wanna have, where we wanna live, and what cars we want, pretty much anything we feel like its so liberating.

Watched the show Scream Queens the other day it was interesting, all the actresses are sooo unbelievably LAME! I laughed my ass off the entire time, watch it and you'll see why. Haha.

I know your probably thinking my blog is just so damn interesting.

I'm gonna watch a movie now Parker just put in Rocketman.

Oh yeah and my beautiful cat Ebby died the day before yesterday, my mom told me today and I was very very sad.. look how precious she is... :'( I was looking forward to being with her when I got back..... I'm so sad now. Why do all the animals I love have to die?

Living In Louisiana

Sorry I haven't posted much, but I decided to post a blog about the differences from Texas good & bad observations I've made so far, it's not to say that all people or all things I've observed are true, and I say all these very light heartedly and jokingly.

1. The roads and engineering of roads here really suck, I always get lost!

2. The people here talk, a LOT more than normal people and they chatter on and on with their accents, A Texan conversation would take 2 minutes to get their point across versus a Louisiana conversation which would take 2 hours. They are very friendly people

3. Everything ends in with 'eaux'.

4. It's very old, pretty, swampy and mossy, and it has a lot 0f plantation houses.

5. Probably all the old guys are masons.

6. Everyone has an 'LSU' sticker on their vehicle.

7. Small trucks are popular here instead of really big trucks like in Texas.

8. The trees are ten times bigger here, and they are much much prettier.

9. Everyone loves cajun food, gator, grawfish, gumbo, and salt and spice, etc. etc.

10. You sort of feel like an outsider here, not cause their not friendly but because you look and dress nothing like anyone that lives here!!!

11. I have never gotten carded in the uncountable times I've ordered a cocktail at a restaurant or bought alcohol here, versus I would have been carded 30 times by now in Texas, its pretty cool!

12. Everyone here seems to smoke.

13. No one cares what time you start drinkin'. hehehe.

14. It has a whole lotta different kind of history here.

15. There's ALWAYS some kind of festival or something going on!!!

I'm just so happy to be onto another chapter of life. The flight school kind of tried to jip us and we up and left to go to this one, which takes at least a year less to complete. Parker's already earned his private helicopter license, just two more to go!!! I'm pretty excited about everything. I even already found my favorite restaurant here, Bojangles Sushi bar. It's sooo awesome! I love their sushi, and Louisiana is just so much prettier than BRUCEVILLE. Not even a comparison!

We went to the Waco Zoo today! It was fun we've been once before! We've lived in an RV for the past 9 months. We've had our fun times and also crammed and hard his mom has said if we made it through that we can make it through anything! lol. We had a little sticker on the window called Randolf, and we were bored half the time but we learned and grew together, keeping each other occupied and entertaining one another. Also some pretty bad fights too though. So I do not recommend buying an RV to live in for a long amount of time. It may seem nice when you walk in it, and it may seem big. Trust me, it's not. It shakes when you walk, for two people it's tiny, you can hardly even stand up in the bathroom and your face isn't even a foot from the wall. LOL! There's not much to do at all, we had to buy a PS3 when we got settled in cause we were just banging out heads against the wall with nothing to do. A house is a luxury, hahaha, I've discovered that since living here. And only one more week and we'll be moving out! Yay! We've had some fun times in here though.

We went to Provodenciales, Turks & Caicos Islands; British West Indies in the Carribbean! It was awesome and absolutely BEAUTIFUL! We had rum punch and conch the whole week we were there. We are so glad we chose there because it really allowed for a private vacation, we were almost always the only ones on the beaches or snorkeling. We lost our kayak a few times out snorkeling! And they even sunk a couple times when we were way offshore! And we saw a shark and a few barracudas too! It was very romantic there and private, the sunsets, the beach, our room was near the beach so we'd listen to the waves at night. Lots of cute colorful fish, and we're keeping a jar on top of our fridge because we want to go again already next year.

I just got this blog so I decided to catch ya'll up on the wedding. To those of you who came, it meant the world to us!!! I wasn't a bridezilla and I didn't let things bother me that day, it went beautifully and it was a nice breezy, sunny day full of love. Couldn't have had it at a better place, we went from the church to our ranch, that I love =). We're just so in love and the wedding was perfect. We are glad to be married and we tell each other that we feel lucky and happy every day. Theres just way too many pictures to share all of them! We have a LOT!!! Here are just a few. =)
